
Dan Humphries
Dan has been working as a health coach since 2009 after graduating from Southampton Solent University with a degree in Health and Fitness Management. The degree has qualified him as a level 3 personal trainer and has given him the foundations to become a top trainer. He began his career at LA Fitness in Southampton and has gone on to work in personal training studios in North London.
As a result of the COVID pandemic lockdown, Dan has taken steps to open his own space in Bickerton House, near Archway station. This has given him the opportunity to train his clients in a space of his own with new equipment and a space that he can manage through these unique times. Steps are taken after each session to clean the space and all the equipment used by clients. The space is only used by Dan and his clients, so there is a real control over who is coming in and out and clients can feel confident in having a great workout in a safe space. There will be continual upgrades to the space as more equipment becomes available over the coming months making sure all clients can be catered for. 2020 has been a crazy year, and now everyone can come out of the pandemic and into 2021 in a stronger and better place than they entered this year.
Dan has a history of working with a wide range of clients, from teenagers to clients over the age of 80. With a keen interest in helping seniors maintain strength and their independence, Dan continues to develop as a trainer with further education in nutrition, correctional exercise and a Golf specialism. More recently, Dan has worked with clients who have more sport specific goals including Rugby and Golf and has used the skills gained on recent courses to develop client's performances on and of the fields. Another one of Dan's passions is to help people become and maintain being pain free. Many of Dan's clients have come to him with injuries or chronic pain, and working with physiotherapists, osteopaths and massage therapists, Dan helps build client's confidence in their bodies again.
