Graduating from Southampton Solent University with a degree in Health and Fitness Management, Dan has over 10 years' experience in the fitness industry. His career as a health coach, began back in 2009 when he qualified as a level 3 personal trainer. His degree and experience working at a variety of personal training studios helped lay the foundation for him to become a sought-after top trainer. 

Dan has built his career on consistency and long-term relationships rooted in his expertise and the professional quality of service he offers. He has been training some of his clients for 10 years and they have seen his development and growth from when he started his career. Here at DHPT you don’t just come for a session and leave, we are big on building strong long-lasting relationships, where we get to know and understand you so we can grow with you no matter the stage of life you are at. We cater to each client's individual needs and work with them to achieve the results they want. 

To further our efforts in providing a truly personalised training experience, we have moved to our own space in a new location. We look forward to welcoming all our new and existing clients. This new facility means we can now offer exclusive accessibility just to you - the space is only used by you and your trainer so be assured that all measures have been taken for it to be a safe, comfortable and clean environment.

 

For all our clients, this means, that we can offer a higher level of quality service and a variety of options to keep you intrigued in finding new ways to train better and yield results that are tailored to you. There will be continual upgrades with top of the range equipment that will suit all levels whether you are a beginner or advanced. 

All staff are trained and qualified to offer the best in personal training led by Dan himself who has worked with a range of clients from sportsmen on and off the field to the elderly through helping them maintain their strength and independence and young people who want to live a healthier life. 

 

DHPT is a full personal training experience that goes beyond workouts, we have taken educational courses in and developed knowledge on nutrition and correctional exercise and work in collaboration with physiotherapists, osteopaths and massage therapists to help clients become and maintain being pain-free. 

We develop our client's performance and build confidence in their own bodies.

Training Classes

Personal Training – One 2 One


A one-to-one service that is bespoke and personal to your needs. We take the time to understand what you want, then look at how we can achieve that goal before creating a tailored plan just for you.

  • We’ll get things started with a FREE consultation!

First things first, we’ll get to know a bit about each other. We use this opportunity, to understand your medical and exercise history. We will then assess your needs and what goals you have in mind before planning how we can train to achieve them. We will discuss the importance of nutrition and food, understanding your body and sleep. Working out is only half of what you need to get the best results you want.

  • Assessment

The first session is an assessment of your body’s current state. You will be put through a series of activities that will assess your strength, posture, flexibility, core function and fitness. We will also take note of base line measures for your weight, height and blood pressure in accordance to your personal goals.

  • Sessions

No two sessions are the same, each one is different and incorporates a variety of exercises, training protocols and makes use of the range of equipment available. A typical session will start with warm up to release overactive muscles whilst activating the underactive muscles and then integrating them into our movements.

  • Strength training

The real work begins, the main focus with this service is strength training. You’ll be shown how to use weights safely and effectively to create resistance in order to make you stronger. You’ll be shown how to use your own bodyweight and equipment such as the dumbbell, barbell, kettlebell, and cable machine. We will make sure to incorporate what we learnt in your assessment whilst working on strengthening weaknesses and releasing any overactive muscle groups in order to get your body balanced.

  • Review

You will be kept up to date with your progress with regular fitness reviews which you can compare with your initial assessment and see your progress over the period of time you choose to train with us.

One Hour - £75.00

Small Group – Two 2 One


Working out doesn’t have to be done alone! This is the chance for you to grab a workout partner and create a support system where you challenge one another. The sessions will be tailored to both of your needs and you will push each other to achieve your very own body goals.

  • We’ll get things started with a FREE consultation!

First things first, we’ll get to know a bit about each other. We use this opportunity, to understand your individual medical and exercise history. We will then assess your individual needs and what goals you have in mind before planning how we can train you both to achieve them. We will discuss the importance of nutrition and food, understanding your body and sleep. Working out is only half of what you need to get the best results you want.

  • Assessment

Similar to our personal training service, the assessment is to understand everyone's current fitness state and your individual goals. Your work-out partner and yourself will be put through a series of activities that will assess your strengths and weaknesses.

  • Sessions

No two sessions are the same, each one is different and incorporates a variety of exercises, training protocols and makes use of the range of equipment available. We will work together to build a program that incorporates everyone's needs. Some areas of a session may be more relevant to others for each individual.

  • HIIT/Metabolic training

This is where we’ll get the fun started, our main focus will be on High intensity workouts (HIIT) and metabolic training. We will incorporate a variety of training protocols, from circuits based to CrossFit style activities alongside strength training and team exercise challenges. Our aim is to have you support and encourage each other to get the best results for you.

  • Review

There will be regular reviews to monitor your progress to see how well you are doing and far you have come in achieving your goals

One Hour - £80.00 (£40 per session each) 10 sessions - £700.00 (£35 per session each)




Online Training


Working out on your own, has never been easier. This service is great for people who are self-motivated to train themselves with the guidance of a professional personal trainer. Each program is built for you and easy to follow. You can receive your program through a periodised system that includes short-, medium- and long-term training options with us. Your program will be monitored weekly and you’ll receive feedback for each completed week with adaptations to keep you going in the right direction to achieve your goals.

  • We’ll get things started with a FREE consultation!

First things first, we’ll get to know a bit about each other via a virtual consultation. We use this opportunity, to understand your medical and exercise history. We will discuss the importance of nutrition and food, understanding your body and sleep. Working out is only half of what you need to get the best results you want.

  • Assessment

The information gathered from your consultation will be used to carry out a virtual assessment, where we can discuss your current state of fitness, needs and goals.

  • Sessions

Our head personal trainer will build a custom program that meets your needs and goals. It will be adjusted to your fitness level and easy for you to follow. After you complete each week, a review will be carried out and adjustments made via email.

  • Review

There will be regular training reviews via zoom to discuss your program. You will be able to discuss your experience, any issues you may be having, your successes and where we can improve and adjust it to be the best possible service for you.
